1937 steam yacht restored and ready for the water

This is the story of the salvaging of a once fine model steam boat and her return to a running and displayable condition.  The model has had one careful owner since 1947 who was keen to be able to admire its fine lines once again.  He had many happy memories of steaming her with his father on the pond in Dunoon, Scotland.

The work took 4 months.

Click Model Boats Magazine Article to read the full story as Model Boats Magazine featured her restoration in the October 2015 issue.

Paul Freshney, the Editor, has kindly given me permission to reproduce the article as a downloadable .pdf.

If you would like any further information on the restoration or have a model steam boat yourself which you would like restored then please contact me.
