When you are considering the pro’s and con’s of getting your cherished item repaired or restored it is important that you feel comfortable with your choice of individual tasked to do the work.
To assist you in making your choice examples of the type of work undertaken are listed here. Articles include a description of the project, a modus operandi together with before and after photographs.
To further assist you, before any project is accepted a written report is sent outlining the scope of work needed to achieve the result you are looking for. Any queries can be discussed and agreement reached on any other options or amendments. This ensures that when work commences both parties are clear on what the outcome will be and how much it will cost.
During the course of the restoration clients are regularly appraised of progress via regular e-mail updates.
From time to time potential clients e-mail to say that they cannot see a specific example which relates directly to their particular project. The examples given are only representative, so please contact as…..
A lot of the skills are transferable which can be utilised to find solutions to projects other than model restorations. As one client said on receiving his non model projects back:
“The Duck consignment arrived safely.
The Chicken has another ear. Such a wonderful job. I’m so pleased.
All your care in packing the parcel; It was so well done. A really excellent job. I’m so pleased that I sent them to you. Kind regards David”
Please be reassured that if a project is outwith my area of expertise then I shall decline to accept it.
