Display stands suitable for mounting on a wall or free standing on a table or other flat surface available.  Here are just a couple of ideas:

Stands shown here are designed to be unobtrusive under the model.

Constructed from plywood to give a strong, but light structure which can then be painted in a colour to compliment the model or the wall.

In this example the client wanted to replace the original dark table stand with a wall stand which would show off the lines of the hull. An additional benefit was it freed up the table!

Example of a free standing table stands:

The objective is always to show off the lines of the hull rather than the bulk of the stand. Yachts offer particular challenges due to the various designs of keel. The bottom is felted to provide a softer interface with the table or other surface to reduce the risk of scratching.

Please note these stands are not designed to transport the models to and from ponds etc.
